Equals’ Dutch Language Programs are full-time, free, and deeply immersive. Designed for ambitious women ready to break language barriers and step into Dutch professional life, each program takes you from beginner (A0) to advanced (B2) proficiency – while tailoring content to your sector: IT, Childcare, or Engineering.

We equip you not only with the language, but also the confidence, cultural awareness, and career tools to thrive in your industry.

Program Highlights (All Tracks)

  • Duration: 16–20 weeks, full-time (Mon–Fri, 9:00–18:00)

  • Location: Must attend in-person in Amsterdam, Utrecht, Rotterdam, or The Hague

  • Daily Schedule:

    • 4 hours/day in-person language classes and learning activites

    • 4 hours/day structured self-study

  • Progress Checks: Bi-weekly language assessments

  • Support: Soft skills training, career coaching, student counselor guidance

  • Outcomes: B2 Dutch language level, cultural integration, and sector-focused preparation

  • Employment Status: Actively looking for a job

  • Cost: 100% tuition-free – fully funded, including all materials

Note: These programs are highly selective with limited seats. Full attendance and participation are required.

While the program includes job search support, it does not guarantee employment. However, participants receive hands-on guidance, networking opportunities, and interview coaching.

Restart your tech career — in Dutch.

This program is ideal for women with experience in the digital and tech industries who are now looking for a job in the Netherlands. Participants come from backgrounds such as:

  • Job titles: Software Developer, Data Analyst, QA Tester, DevOps Engineer,  AI Specialist

  • Experience or education in: Computer Science, IT, Data Science, Web Development, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering

The curriculum supports your transition into Dutch-speaking tech teams, with language coaching tailored to IT environments and guidance on applying for roles in the local job market.

For Engineering Professionals

Speak Dutch. Build the future.

This program supports women with engineering expertise who are currently looking for a job in Dutch-speaking technical environments. It’s suited to those with:

Job titles: Civil Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Process Engineer, Technical Designer, Industrial Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Project Manager (Construction/Technical), Energy Engineer

Experience or education in:
Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Architecture, or comparable technical disciplines

You’ll gain the language fluency and cultural understanding to confidently participate in Dutch engineering teams.

Care for children. Speak their language.

This track is for women with training and/or work experience in early childhood or educational settings who are looking for a job in the Dutch childcare sector. Ideal for those with:

  • Job titles: Pedagogical Worker, Nursery Teacher, After-School Care Assistant, Teaching Assistant

  • Experience or education in: Early Childhood Education, Pedagogy, Childcare Assistance, Montessori, or similar qualifications

You’ll build confidence in Dutch through real-life childcare scenarios, sector-specific vocabulary, and cultural preparation — helping you meet language requirements and secure long-term employment in childcare.
