The Dutch IT Program by Equals is a transformative 16–20 week journey designed to empower experienced women in tech to master the Dutch language and thrive in the Dutch tech industry. This high-intensity, full-immersion program takes participants from absolute beginner (A0) to advanced (B2) proficiency, enabling full professional integration. This is more than a language course – it’s a bold step toward fluency, confidence, and career acceleration.

Are You Eligible and Ready to Commit?

To be considered, you must meet all the following:

• Professional background: 3–5+ years of proven experience or education in IT, Engineering, Data, AI, Full Stack Development, or Applied Sciences.Location: You must commit to attend and participate in the classes taking place in Amsterdam, Utrecht, Rotterdam, or The Hague.
• Employment status: You are currently not employed in IT (this is required by our partner). In case you receive an (unemployment) benefit from the city or UWV, please let us know.
• Commitment: You are available to fully dedicate 40 hours per week, for 16–20 weeks straight.

Note: The city will verify both your address registration status and employment situation as part of the approval process.

Why This Matters

This program is 100% tuition-free for you, and your spot is fully funded by our partners. That means you won’t pay for anything, but it also means we can’t select anyone who isn’t fully committed.

Please know:
We simply want to ensure that you understand the level of commitment and investment this program requires. Each spot is extremely limited- we only have 15 spots. If you drop out, miss too many sessions, or don’t follow the curriculum, your place cannot be given to someone else — and someone else misses out on this opportunity. That’s why, in such cases, we will ask the participants to reimburse the cost of the program.

What You’re Committing To

This is an intensive, full-time curriculum designed for bold, career-driven women:

• Daily structure:
  • 4 hours/day in-person instruction (1.5 hrs in person with teacher + 2.5 hrs immersion activities)
  • 4 hours/day of structured self-study as preparation for the next day
  • Monday – Friday: 9:00-18:00

• Bi-weekly testing:
  • Every two weeks, you’ll be tested on speaking, listening, reading, and writing. If you pass, you continue to the next weeks, if you fail you will repeat the two weeks.
  • You can repeat a 2-week block once, and only twice in total of the program
  • Failing more than two blocks means you cannot continue
• Materials: All learning materials will be provided by us — you don’t need to purchase anything yourself.

Career Support – But No Job Guarantee

This program is built to help you thrive in the Dutch job market, but it’s important to understand that we do not guarantee a job at the end. You will still be responsible for actively searching and applying for positions.

That said, you won’t be doing it alone. We provide soft skills workshops, application and interview coaching, one-on-one support from our student counselor, LinkedIn and personal branding training, and networking opportunities. We are here to empower you — with language, confidence, and culture — to take the next step in your tech career.
