About
Hi I’m Ilse, and I am a Cyber Security Analyst at Eye Security.
I always knew I wanted to do something meaningful and but I wasn’t sure which career path to take.
Although I initially studied linguistics, it didn’t feel like the right thing for me. I started to think about things that I truly enjoyed and it was mostly experimenting with some basic website coding or getting creative with game mechanics on my computer. I think that’s what led me to cyber security and my current role.
I can actively protect the digital world from evolving cyber threats and create a safer online environment. It definitely hits the mark of a having a meaningful career.
What qualities do you think are essential for success?
We all have different definition of success – and that’s okay! I try to balance following both my heart and making the logical decisions to chose the path for myself. With confidence, hard work and a clear vision, everyone can achieve their version of success!
